 | This year, instead of pedaling a red tandem in Eastmoreland's Fourth of July parade, I'm going to be participating in the parade's first Art Fair! That's right, the parade starts at 11am, and from 10am until 2 pm, I (and other local creators) will be selling our wares on Reed College Place between Knapp and Rex Streets (just north of Duniway Elementary). Stop by and peruse my middle grade book, She Forgot Her Manners and Got the Vote--The Pioneering Life of Abigail Scott Duniway, a fun, rollicking story about the Oregon Trail pioneer and suffragist that Duniway Elementary is named after.
